Shoes for quick summits

Looking for shoes to carry you through the mountains like the wind? Aegility is what you need.

Scrambling* blurs the lines between hiking, mountaineering and climbing. This was Mammut's inspiration when developing the Aegility Pro Mid DT.

Aegility is like a bot, but with a soft, raised ankle that prevents small stones from falling into your shoes, slowing you down on your way to the top. Lacing is also not something to waste precious seconds on. Quick closure with comfortable elastics.

Designed with Mammut 360° Fusn technology, the shoe consists of only 4 parts, so it offers an excellent fit to the foot and excellent control. The all-around integrated sole provides not only grip that doesn't let you down, but also protects and stabilizes the foot.

*Scrambling - from English. scrambling - climbing difficult mountain routes that involve frequent use of arms and legs to maintain balance. Ranks between hiking and rock climbing.

Mammut footwear size guide

To accurately determine your size, we recommend measuring the length of feet in millimeters.

  1. Stand against a wall or other 90-degree vertical plane on the floor with your full weight, heel touching the wall/plane.
  2. Mark where the thumb ends.
  3. Measure both feet. If your feet are different length, choose the larger foot size.
  4. See the table below.

For hiking shoes, we recommend choosing a shoe at least 1 - 1.5 sizes larger than your everyday shoe size.

In hiking shoes, the toes must not touch the shoe!

This is because after walking for a long time your feet will swell and an otherwise good sized shoe will start to feel tight and short! This is the most common cause of sore feet and toes. In more serious cases, one may even lose their toenails due to an inappropriate hiking shoe size.

Example: Measured foot length in millimeters 250 mm or EU 40. Hiking shoes should be chosen from 260 mm or EU 41 1/3 or UK 9.
